An application can be picked up at the Greene County Housing Authorities main office.

Public Housing is limited to low-income families and individuals. The Greene County Housing Authority (GCHA) will determine your eligibility based on:
- Annual gross income;
- Whether you qualify as elderly, a person with a disability, or as a family under general occupancy; and
- U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status.
If you are eligible, the GCHA will check your rental histories, credit and criminal background checks, references, and other factors to make sure you and your family will be suitable tenants. The GCHA will deny admission to any applicant whose habits and practices may be expected to have a detrimental effect on other tenants or on the project’s environment.
**NOTE**
IF YOU ARE A FORMER TENANT OF THE GREENE COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY AND YOU OWE THE HOUSING AUTHORITY A BALANCE FROM YOUR MOVE- OUT, YOU WILL NOT BE A ABLE TO REAPPLY UNTIL YOUR BALANCE IS PAID IN FULL.
